The In person round option provides additional concepts to online rounds.

These include:

  • Checkin and manual assignment of audition numbers

  • Ability to add groups to rounds

  • Ability to submit applications on behalf of talent

  • Ability to checkin on behalf of talent

  • Line up boards to add more efficiency to the audition process

  • Ability to attach one or multiple media to multiple talent at once

Pre Audition - round setup

An In person round includes similar options to a online round with some additional options:

Location:

The location field is to not only let talent know where the audition is being conducted but also restricts from where the talent can checkin to the live audition. This ensures only talent who have arrived at the location can checkin.

  • Location: Specify the location of the live audition. This should be as accurate as possible including, country, state, city, street and number if possible.

  • Check-in Radius: This should be specified in either km’s or miles and is used to determine the radius location that a talent must be in order to checkin to a round

Who can submit:

  • This is identical to online rounds except that internal rounds are not an option

Audition Numbers:

  • Use Audition number: means audition numbers will be used and manually assigned to talent

  • None: No audition numbers will be used so all talent need to do is checkin

Lineup Options

In person rounds include a new Lineup mode. This mode displays talent and their related information that is optimised for live auditions. In this mode the focus is less on the online content and more on the key information that identifies a talent. Line up mode also displays the number of default talent that perform at once when a live assessment is being completed.

Line up mode also displays the comments field to enter comments in from the gallery as well as custom selectable fields that can be added to each talent card for quick review.

  • Default number of talent per lineup: This specifies the number of talent you would like to see in a single row in the line up when assessing them in a live audition in lineup mode.

  • Minimum number of talent per lineup: This is the minimum number of talent that can appear in a lineup when the number of talent is not evenly divisible into the default number of talent

All other options are the same as online rounds.

Casting Options for a Live Round

Once a live round is created there are some additional options available.

These are listed as follows:

  • Checkin Mode: When enabled anyone who has submitted an application to the round will then be able to checkin. The checkin location must be within the radius set for the round

  • QR Code PDF: The ability to create a checkin QR code. The QR code will be a url of the live round.

  • Assign Audition Numbers: Talent who are checked in will be able to have audition numbers manually assigned to the checked in talent.

  • Add Media in bulk: In live rounds media can be added to multiple talent at once. This is so any audition videos taken at the live event can be added to the talent. Note these are not accessible by the talent.

  • Lineup Mode: This is a gallery mode that is specifically designed to allow casting to quickly see important information about talent and also capture notes without opening the profile. Hover is also disabled on lineup mode

  • Groups: Live rounds has the ability to group talent into round groups. Talent can belong to multiple groups at the same time

  • Additional filters: There are additional filters added for live rounds to filter talent who have checked-in and who have received and audition number.

Application to ready for assessment process

In order to perform different actions the round must have that specific mode enabled. Also each step in the process is dependant on the previous step being completed.

Application phase: For talent to submit an application the round must be set to accept applications, same as online round.

Checkin phase: For talent to be able to checkin and have an audition number assigned the round must have checkin mode enabled.

Assessment phase: For talent to be able to be assessed and displayed in lineup mode the assessment mode must be enabled. Only talent that have checked in and have an audition number assigned (assuming audition numbers are enabled in the round) can be displayed in a lineup mode. Note that talent that have not checked in or been assigned an audition number can still be assessed. However they cannot be assessed in a lineup mode.
