Round Types
There are two type of rounds that can be created:
Online Rounds
In person Rounds
Online rounds are optimised for talent to submit online applications and for casting teams to assess these online applications to determine the right candidates. They are typically conducted before a in-person round
In person rounds are optimised for talent to submit and casting teams to assess talent that attend live auditions. In person rounds includes features such as talent check-in, QR codes, manual audition number assignment, lineup modes and more.
Online Round
The following setting are key when setting up a round:
Round Name: This is a mandatory field and is used to describe what audition this is.
Who can submit to this round: There are 3 options for this field:-
Internal submission: this is used for internal team members to add talent to the round to assess. There is no invitation sent to talent or any decision notifications sent to a talent when an internal round is taking place.
Invitation only submission: These rounds can only be applied for by talent who have been invited to apply for the audition by the casting lead(s). These rounds will not be visible to talent who have not been specifically invited.
Any one can submit: These rounds are open and any talent can apply. Note that talent can also be specifically invited to an open round.
Enforce talent profile to be viewed when submitting decision: When selected this will always open the talent summary view before a decision can be submitted. If this is disabled a decision for a talent can be applied without opening the talent details.
Roles talent can apply for: This is a list of the roles from the project that talent can apply for. By default all roles can be applied for in the project.
All other fields are for informational purposes and displayed to the talent.
In person Round
In person rounds include a few additional options to the online rounds.
Location:
The location field is to not only let talent know where the audition is being conducted but also restricts from where the talent can checkin to the live audition. This ensures only talent who have arrived at the location can checkin.
Location: Specify the location of the live audition. This should be as accurate as possible including, country, state, city, street and number if possible.
Check-in Radius: This should be specified in either km’s or miles and is used to determine the radius location that a talent must be in order to checkin to a round
Who can submit:
This is identical to online rounds except that internal rounds are not an option
Audition Numbers:
Use Audition number: means audition numbers will be used and manually assigned to talent
None: No audition numbers will be used so all talent need to do is checkin
Lineup Options
In person rounds include a new Lineup mode. This mode displays talent and their related information that is optimised for live auditions. In this mode the focus is less on the online content and more on the key information that identifies a talent. Line up mode also displays the number of default talent that perform at once when a live assessment is being completed.
Line up mode also displays the comments field to enter comments in from the gallery as well as custom selectable fields that can be added to each talent card for quick review.
Default number of talent per lineup: This specifies the number of talent you would like to see in a single row in the line up when assessing them in a live audition in lineup mode.
Minimum number of talent per lineup: This is the minimum number of talent that can appear in a lineup when the number of talent is not evenly divisible into the default number of talent
All other options are the same as online rounds.
