Once talent have applied for a role or been added to a round (internal round only) the talent can be assessed.

To enable assessment enable the "Assess Talent" switch.

As soon as the Assess Talent switch is enabled all team members for the round will receive a notification that round assessment has commenced.

The talent thumbnails will also change to display the decision icons "Call Back" - Thumbs Up, "Keep on File" - Clock Icon and "Not Today" - Thumbs down.

There are two modes of assessment. You can do quick assessment which enables the casting team to just select each of the decision icons without even opening the talent (remember you can however over the thumbnail to see the media).

You can also force the casting team to open the talent and conduct a proper detailed assessment.

If the talent's name or icon is selected (if quick assessment is not enabled in the round details area) the talent profile will open with the assessment panel to the right of the profile.

When talent profile will display the submitted media (submitted media questions), submitted form (answers to questions) and other profile information in the remaining tabs. The profile can also be displayed in full mode by selecting the two arrows in the top right.

Roles selection

When a talent has applied to a round, the roles they selected to apply for are displayed in the top right corner. To make a decision against applied for roles the casting can select the roles first. It is important to note that the decision selected is applied against all the roles selected.

If no role is selected and a decision is made then this decision is automatically applied to all roles.

When roles are selected and a decision of "Call Back" or "Keep on File" is selected then the selected roles will have this decision applied and the unselected roles that were applied for will be automatically assumed as "Not Today".

Casting can also Suggest roles that may not have been applied for by the talent.

In this case they select the Plus button and they can then select a role in the project.

When casting select the role as suggest it will then appear in the suggested roles area.

For a Suggested Role to be applied to the application the suggested role MUST be selected. The decision made will then also be applied to this suggested role.

When roles are selected casting will also see the skills related to the role displayed. This allows casting to rate the different skills required to fulfil the role.

Casting can also apply an overall score to each role by selecting the Role Assessment tab.

rating skills and roles will aid in enriching a talents profile and assist in finding talent with the right internal skills ratings in the future.

Assigning a decision

The 3 default decisions available are "Call Back", "Keep on File" and "Not Today". As mentioned previously the decision made will be applied to all selected roles or all roles applied for if no roles are specifically selected.

If roles are specifically selected then any unselected roles will automatically assumed to be "Not Today".

When a decision is selected by a Casting Lead or Admin a Message to Talent will automatically be generated by the templates set in the notification tab in the Settings area (cog in top right of portal). - THE MESSAGE IS ONLY DISPLAYED TO CASTING LEADS AND ADMIN.

This message can be automatically sent to all talent when the round is closed (casting can choose to not send the notification to talent).

If a lead or admin wants to edit the specific message to the individual talent they can select the "Edit Message" checkbox.

A warning will be displayed under the message area so that the lead understands that they are deviating from the standard templated message.

Lastly the casting team can also make internal comments. These can be seen by other casting team members in the Team Assessments tab.

Team Assessments

The casting team can also see the assessment of this talent by other team members by selecting the "Team Assessment" tab.

This will show the decision, assessment and comments from all other casting team members.
