This article describes how casting leads can send their final decisions to select talent at any time instead of having to waiting until a round is closed.
Sending a final decision
Casting team members with the Casting Lead decision permission can send the casting leads final most favourable decision to the selected talent. Note that only the most favourable decision across any roles is sent. For example if R1 is “Call Back”, R2 is “Keep on File” and R3 is “Not Today” then only R1 - “Call Back” notification will be sent.
The option is provided at the round level by selecting multiple talent and selecting the “Notify of Decision” option.
The option is also available when a profile is opened in the drop down field.
In order for the option to be available the round must have assessment enabled. This option is not displayed on rounds where the assessment is not enabled or the round is closed.
This option is also not available for internal rounds.
Sent Notifications view
When a decision has been sent to a talent an indicator will be displayed in the gallery against each talent indicating the decision for the round has been sent and what decision was sent.
The decision indicator will also be displayed under the thumbnail of an expanded talent profile if a decision has been sent.
Decisions will also only be sent to talent if a Casting lead has applied a decision to the applicant.
Casting can view what was sent to the talent by looking at the “Activities” tab if they have access.
Resending Notifications
If a talent has been sent a decision and they are selected again to be sent a notification the decision will be sent again.
Note if a decision for a role has changed and the notification is sent again the talent will receive a notification for the most favourable decision against any roles. For example if R1 and R2 are set as “Call Back” and R3 as “Not Today” the decision sent will be “Call Back” for R1 and R2, regardless what decision was sent previously.
If a talent has previously been sent a decision and then the casting lead removes the decision, a decision cannot be resent until a new decision is selected by a casting lead for at least one role.
Closing a Round
When a round is closed only talent who have been assessed and not sent a notification will be sent a notification OR a talent who has been sent a notification has had their most favourable decision changed.
Filtering talent
A new filter will be added to Online rounds and In Person rounds to filter which talent have or have not received a decision.
When the “No Decision Sent” filter is selected this will return all talent that have not had a decision sent including talent who have not been assessed or talent that have not applied or checked-in. To filter these other talent additional status filters can be used.
Talent View
When a decision is sent to a talent the decision email (based on the template) for the last casting leads decision will be sent to the talent. The decision sent will be based on the most favourable decision given.
The talent will also immediately see the decision of their application in the Decision tab of the My Auditions area.
