JamarGig provides the ability to tag talent with specific indexes so you can find talent based on attributes custom to your organisation.
To access and set up tags go to the Data Model tab in the site settings area (top right cog) and then select the drop down in the tab to display tags.
From here you can see all tags that have been created previously and also whether you would like to allow team members to create tags ad-hoc or whether you want to restrict tags that can be added to talent based on the list created here.
Typically it is a good idea to allow tags to be created ad-hoc and then after a period restrict them to the common ones that have been created.
If you have lots of similar tags created due to alternative spelling you can rename a tag to another existing tag and the system will automatically merge all records to the renamed tag.
To assign tags to a talent just navigate to a talent's profile and select the profile tab.
You will then see a tags field which will allow you to select from the list of previously created tags or (if enabled) create a new tag.
To create a new tag just begin typing and if the tag being entered does not exist a create new tag option will appear.
Once tags have been applied to a talent profile they can then be searched using the profile search form.
