JamarGig One Linking and Synchronization

JamarGig One can be used to manage all JamarGig accounts throughout the JamarGig Network.

JamarGig One enables talent to create a profile that can be used to keep any profile created within the JamarGig network up to date centrally.

You can sign up to JamarGig One by going to: https://profile.talent.jamargig.com

This means if you have a JamarGig One account and you then create a profile in a casting or production company that is also using JamarGig, you will be able to use all the information in your central JamarGig Profile to automatically fill in your profile for that companies site.

From your JamarGig One you will also be able to continually keep these profiles up to date whenever you make a change in your central JamarGig Profile.

After you have created a JamarGig One account. You can then create profiles from your JamarGig account across any number of site using JamarGig to manage their auditions.

Linking your JamarGig One profile

When you enter and validate your email in company that uses JamarGig, the system will detect if you have a JamarGig One account.

If you do a screen will be presented asking if you would like to use your JamarGig One to create the profile and link JamarGig One to this account.

Once you select to link the profiles, all information in your JamarGig One that has been set to Public will be duplicated this account. This includes profile information and media from your library.

Also any changes you make in your JamarGig One account can be sync'd with this companies profile of you.

Synchronizing updates

When an account is linked you can view the linked accounts within the Linked Accounts tab within your JamarGig One portal.

From here you can see the synchronisation status of all your profiles with JamarGig One as well as the last time the profile was synchronised.

To copy your latest updates to JamarGig One to all your profiles in company sites just select individual or all sites and select Synchronise Accounts.

All your profile information, including media, that are marked as public will be synchronised.

What information is synchronized?

Only information that is marked as public will be synchronized with only a few exceptions (see below). This means that if you change a field from public to private and it has already been synchronized previously the values of those fields in the synchronized sites will not change.

Information that is always synchronized

There are a few core fields that all JamarGig accounts need in order to be created. This means that these fields will synchronize regardless in the public/private status.

These include:

  • Name

  • Email

  • DOB

  • Location

  • BIO Description

Media Exceptions

If media is removed or made private in JamarGig One, access to this media will be removed from other sites once synchronized.

However if you submitted media as part of an application or you added additional media to your profile in that company site then this media will not be removed from these sites when synchronized.

You will need to remove this manually from the company site or request for the company to remove media that you used in a submission.
