JamarGig One provides the ability for talent to simply create their very own public website which contains everything they need to provide prospective employers or casting directors.

It also allows talent to create a centralised profile that can be linked and synchronized across the entire JamarGig network of casting and production companies. These means you can manage all your profiles from one central location.

JamarGig One Signup

To Sign Up to JamarGig One just go to https://profile.talent.jamargig.com

You will be asked to enter your email and then a token will be sent to you to validate your identity.

Once you validate your email if the system detects you do not have an account you will be pushed through a simple wizard questionnaire to complete basic information about yourself.

Select your template

Once you have completed the basic setup you will be asked to select a template.

You can either select the template using the "Use Template" button or you can preview the template by selecting on the thumbnail and select the template directly from the preview.

Once the template is selected you will be displayed a draft preview of your website.

When the template is first selected and in Draft the contents of the homepage will include demo data and images.

Setting up your profile Info

To start setting up your profile select the "Edit" button or "Configure" menu. This will take you to the area where you enter your information, media and design your templated website homepage.

My Info

The My Info section contains all the information you would like to appear in your Info tab of your website.

To edit each section just select the pencil button to update field values.

You can also set whether the fields are to be displayed in your website by selecting the "eye" icon. If the icon is green the field will be displayed in the website when published. If crossed out it will be private.

Once you update the fields and select Save the website draft will automatically be updated.

Visibility can also be set to individual fields or entire sections such as Website & Social Links, Education, etc. If you make any visibility changes from the My Info tab area directly a Save and Close button will be displayed at the bottom of the page to accept the changes. These changes will also then be directly reflected on the draft website.

Media

Media including images, videos, video links (YouTube and Vimeo), PDF documents and sound files can be uploaded to JamarGg Profile media tab.

To upload media select "Add Media".

On desktops you will be able to select files from the local computer folders as well as the ability to add YouTube and Vimeo links.

If you are using a mobile phone you will also be given the option to select the Camera or Phone Media Library.

When media is added the name of the media file can be updated to reflect the contents of the file. For example if you are uploading profile photos you may want to rename the photos to reflect the profile shot.

You can also upload multiple files to upload at once. After selecting and renaming the files, select Add Media and the files will begin to upload and then added to the library.

Once uploaded it will be set to display in the website by default. Files that are displayed in the website will be marked with the green "eye" icon and will be set to "Public". Private files will be marked as "Private".

To change the visibility just select the eye icon.

When media is displayed in full view an eye visibility icon is also available to enable to select whether the media is visible or not.

When a media is set to private or public this is also displayed in the library gallery.

Design

The Design tab is for styling specific pages (typically the homepage) of your website. Each Template provides all the styling and design elements to provide a beautiful responsive website for both desktop and mobile.

All you need to do is select what you want included on the design. This includes items such as Bio description, images and featured social links.

From within the Design area you will see the selected Template which you also have an option to change using the Change Template button.

There is also an area for the published website link. This can be updated, copied and previewed.

NOTE: The public link can only be accessed when a published version of your website exists.

To update the url name of your website link just select into the textbox and update the slug name. The system will automatically check if the name is available.

When images are selected for the page you must select these from the available media in the media library.

JamarGig One will provide a cropping tool so the images are automatically sized to correctly display in the allocated area.

Once the images, text and social links are selected you can save changes and they will be immediately reflected in the draft website.

Publish your site

To review and publish your website select the Preview button. If a draft exists of you site there will be a draft indicator at the top of the preview window.

If the website has been published the Publish indicator will appear.

When the site is published you can select the Share button to copy the link to your site and share with prospective employers and casting directors.

Updating your site

Whenever changes are made to your profile, media or page design these changes will automatically be saved to a draft version of your website.

When you select Preview the website displayed will be the latest version. If a draft exists that has not yet been published that site will be the latest version so the Draft will be displayed.

If you want to see the Published version when a Draft exists you will need to use the public link from the Design area to view the site.

The changes made in draft will only be pushed to your published version when you select Publish.

This will then push the latest version of your website to your public link.

Deleting your site

When deleting your website the system will always delete the version that is displayed in the Preview area which is the latest version.

If the Draft version is deleted and a Published version exists the Published version will then be the latest and displayed in the Preview area.

If the only a Published version exists then the Published version can be deleted. If only a Draft version exists (ie. it was never published from the creation of the profile) and the website is deleted then the Draft will be deleted.

If there are no active website versions you will need to select the template again and reconfigure the Design area of the site.
