CircusTalk is a specialty talent database that has over 35,000 talent with special skills related to circus, acro and dance. By using External posts you can create, edit and delete posts directly from within the JamarGig talent management portal.

Getting Started

Firstly to get started with CircusTalk posts you need to have an active CircusTalk Pro-Casting Account. You can signup for an account here:

Once signed up to the CircusTalk Pro-Casting account go to your JamarGig talent management portal and select the global settings area (cog in top right hand corner).

Select the "Integration" tab and then select "Add Integration->External Channel->CircusTalk". Enter your Email address and Password for your CircusTalk Pro-Casting account.

This will then authenticate and connect JamarGig to your CircusTalk account.

The ability to create CircusTalk posts can be initiated from the global "External Posts" menu and the "External Posts" tab within each project.

*Global menu

*Project level tab

To create a new post select the Create Post button. Depending on whether the post is created at the project level or global level will determine whether the project needs to be selected.

To create a post first input the following details:

  • Post Name: This is for internal purposes only so you can identify and find posts within JamarGig

  • Channel: This is the channel the post will be created on. At this time JamarGig supports CircusTalk

  • Project: The project the post is related to

  • Round: This is the audition round that contains the roles your want to collect talent for. Note that only rounds that are set to "Anyone can apply" can be selected. Invitation only or internal rounds will not be selectable.

  • Select Roles: This is the roles that will be posted. Note that a separate post may be created for each role depending on the channel. At this point the CircusTalk channel option will create a separate post for each role.

Once the initial post details are selected the next screen will request CircusTalk specific fields:

  • Company Name: The company name that will appear in the CircusTalk Post. By default this will be set to the company name you used when you setup your JamarGig account

  • Job Category: These are the CircusTalk job categories you would like this posting to appear under

  • Discipline: The Discipline field is the discipline of the specific job category you are looking to fill and is only applicable and will be displayed depending on the type of Job Category selected.

  • Location Type: This determines whether the job is in a physical location or is an online job (eg. in the case of an online creator/influencer role)

  • Country/Region/City: these are the location specifics when the Location Type is selected as a Permanent Location

Once this is completed each role selected in the first screen will be displayed in the left hand panel. As each role will be posted into CircusTalk independently when each role is selected the fields specific to each role will be displayed and can be completed.

By default JamarGig will automatically populate fields from the Project role settings however fields that are only specific to CircusTalk will also be displayed to be completed.

The fields required to be completed are as follows:
